Budget Committee:
Meets at the beginning of the year and plans the budget for the
Chapter, incorporating information form the committee chairs.
Audit Committee:
Wraps up the year by reviewing the financial reports.
ByLaws/Parliamentarian:
Is responsible for preparing and presenting any changes to the
bylaws; reviewing Chapter standing rules; and attending chapter board
and business meetings to insure Parliamentarian procedures are utilized.
Membership Committee:
Works to increase and maintain membership.
Construction
Industry/Association Liaison/Occupation Research & Referral:
Will be responsible to work with other construction associations,
promote our industry, and maintain a current job referral list, job
fairs and/or career days, etc.
Ways and Means Committee:
Is responsible for the fund raising involved in meeting the
budget.
Community Giving Committee:
Plans activities to help the community.
Website Hosting:
Updates the site to keep members and public informed on our
happenings.
NAWIC Education Committee:
Serves the membership by providing information about educational
opportunities in the Association.
Professional Education
Committee:
Handles all the speakers and programs for the year.
Forum 2006 Planning Committee:
Handles planning and all details involved with hosting Region 4
Forum. Coordinates with several subcommittees.
Social and Hospitality
Committee:
Plans each month's meeting locations and takes dinner
reservations; coordinates with Professional Education Committee and
Friendship Committee.
P.R./Marketing and NAWIC
Week:
Provides information, meeting notices, special achievements,
etc., to the media to promote our organization.
WIC of the Year Committee:
Coordinates the selection of the Chapter WIC of the Year.
Bulletin Committee:
Compiles information, edits and distributes our monthly
newsletter.
Installation of Officers
Committee:
Plans the installation of incoming officers.
Scholarship Committee:
Reviews applications for our scholarships and monitors their
progress.
Block Kids:
Handles all arrangements for the Block Kids building Program.
CAD/Design/Drafting:
Handles all arrangements for the CAD/Design/Drafting Program.
Friendship Committee:
Advises the whole chapter of deaths, illness, weddings, babies,
promotions, employment opportunities and accomplishments which happen to our members.
Historian:
Keeps memorabilia on chapter happenings.
