What We Do

Block Kids

Block Kids Building Program is  designed to introduce children to the building industry.   It is open to students from 1st to 6th grades.  This program is an effort to create an awareness of the many job opportunities in construction and, hopefully, promote an interest in a future career in one of its many facets.  The Block Kids event is usually held in February.

CAD/Design/Drafting

The CAD/Design/Drafting Competition is designed for senior high students.  The competition provides recognition to students for creative design, successful problem solving, and craftsmanship in preparing architectural drawings.  Objectives of the competition are to introduce students to the construction industry in a positive and challenging manner, while fostering a sense of self-worth and building confidence.  The CAD/Design/Drafting Competition material usually is available by the beginning of the school year so teacher can incorporate this into their programs.  Please follow this link for more information.  CAD DESIGN

Scholarships

The Scholarship Program is an effort to assist students financially while in college.  Students in good standings entering into the construction field can apply for financial assistance by completing the application and interview process.  The construction field incorporates engineering, construction management, architecture, and special trades, just to mention a few.  We host a golf outing each year to as a fund raiser to support these students.  Please follow this link for more information and an application.  SCHOLARSHIPS

In the past our Golf Outing has been done specifically to raise money for our scholarship program.  The sponsors and participants who supported our efforts were very vital to our being able to offer assistance to students.  We are now looking for new avenues to continue our scholarship program.
