NAWIC Grand Rapids is Excited to welcome Layla Aslani, Planning Project Manager with the City of Grands Rapids, to present on Bridge to Our Future: the Grand Rapids Community Master Plan.
The City of Grand Rapids adopted a new Community Master Plan (CMP) in December. Based on data analysis, robust community engagement, and best practices, the CMP sets the vision for how the City will grow and develop over the next 20 years and addresses topics including housing, transportation, and sustainability. This presentation will cover the plan process, contents, and next steps.
Layla Aslani is a Planning Project Manager for the City of Grand Rapids Planning Department. In this role, she focuses on long-range planning and recently worked on a multi-year effort to create a new Community Master Plan.
